computer don't want to turn on

I've had my computer build for some time now then this problem occurs. Everytime I do a cold boot the power to go off like a few seconds after it is turned on. So if i even want to turn it on, i have to keep pressing the power button. I don't know if it is a power supply problem but i was hoping someone in the forum has ran into this problem before

What I have:
cpu: athlon xp 2500+
mobo: asus a7n8x v2.0 deluxe (dual lan)
mem: 1 gig pc3200 (running underclock because the ram and fsb has to match otherwise i'll crash, but that is another issue... )
video: geforce 6800 128ram
harddrive: WD raptor 37g

WHen I have had a similar issue with my older XP2000+ rig a few months back, it was indeed the 2.5 year old PS at fault....; that'd be the first, simplest, least expensive part to replace...

Definately sounds like a power supply problem.

Id replace yours before it kills other parts of your system.
