Hi have had to re-install Windows XP Pro after a hard disk crash.

I am now unable to get the keyboard to work as a U.K. item, it does not give
the pound sign and the @ sign is now upper case letter 2.

According to the settings in Control Panel everything is set as U.K. but it
does not work as it should.

Any ideas or feed back would be welcome, i'm stuck!!!

Control Panel -> Regional and language settings -> Tab: Languages,
Button: Details, and add a UK Keyboard.

Hope this is useful to you. Let us know.
