Okay, so I'm trying to upgrade my comp to run The Elder Scrolls: Oblivion when it is released.

Right now my system specs are:

Intel Pentium 4, 3000 MHz (15 x 200)
1024 MB (PC3200 DDR SDRAM)
NVIDIA GeForce FX 5200 (128 MB)

So my biggest problem is going to be my graphics card. Might be able to run the game on low, but nothing serious. So I'm looking at upgrading to the GeForce 6800. My problem is that I dont kow the difference between an AGP card or a PCI-e.

So if anybody can help tell me how to know which one I should be looking at? Thanks.

And as a side note, I also plan to buy 1 GB of RAM.

Thanks in advance.

I would be willing to bet you have an AGP. But you may want to look at the specs that came with your computer to make sure. I don't believe they made the 5200 in PCIexpress. PCIexpress is a new graphics port that only made it into main stream in the last year. If your system was built my a major manufacturer just go to their website and check the spec on there. But I can almost guarentee you that it is an AGP.
