I'm having a weird problem I haven't seen talked about anywhere.

I just upgraded my computer with a new MB (Asus A8V-E), Athlon 64 3000+, 1Gig Corsair, and Leadtek 6600GT. Now some games are displaying a horizontal jagged 1 inch thick band near the top of the screen. I've seen it in Nightfire, Combat Flight Sim 3, and Republic Commando Demo.

But I've been playing my old copy of Unreal Tournament wihtout any issues.

Is this a bad video card or software?

have u tried underclocking your video memory?

Do you have the latest drivers?
Did you do a clean install of windows after this hardware upgrade?
