Hi,

Newbie VPN question: I've set up Windows PPTP and L2 VPNs between my
office server and home computer. I see ads from ISPs for VPN and also
routers with VPN. I do not understand what these are or why I would
want one, particularly the ISP VPN.

If someone could point me to an FAQ or post an explanation I'd really
appreciate it.
