I have a friend, using AOL, that sends pictures to a number of people, most
of whom are *not* on AOL. The other people get the photos but I don't. When
she sends an email with a link to an AOL album (with multiple photos), I
click on the link in OE, an explorer window opens as expected, and I get an
animation telling me that *You've got photos is loading* with a bar that
fills in as loading progresses. Then when the loading is complete, and the
status bar says *Done*, the window is blank. Does anyone have any
suggestions for what settings to check or change so that I can view the
photos. TIA
Larry

Hi Eric, thanks for the response. I was beginning to think nobody cared
about my problem. Well, anyway, my email client is Outlook Express, and it
seems to work OK. When she sends me a picture in an email, I can see it
fine. My problem occurs when she puts photos on an AOL photo service, and
sends me a link in an email, e.g.
http://aolsvc.pictures.aol.com/NAS [...] hareInfo=e sv4e%2b9w77nfviv8l62M9DkB3YpULmWR%2fJNFQ%2b8N0ZK%2fjFCnkV3ciA%3d%3d&pageName
=AlbumViewFromEmails , when I click on the link a new IE window opens up to
go to that link. The link seems to work, i.e. I get an animation telling me
that *You've got pictures is loading*. But when the loading bar shows that
it has completed loading, I just get a blank screen. I figure I've got some
IE setting that's preventing me from seeing the photo, but I haven't been
able to figure out what to change. When I click on properties of the blank
window, it says it's a http document and the address is
http://pak04.pictures.aol.com/NASA [...] ew&shareIn fo=esv4e%2b9w77nfviv8l62M9DkB3YpULmWR%2fJNFQ%2b8N0ZK%2fjFCnkV3ciA%3d%3d&page
Name=AlbumViewFromEmails&locale=en_US .
Other people get the pictures, but I don't.
Any suggestions anybody?
Larry
