XP won't upgrade an existing Win95 system. But Win95 is a qualifying
system for the upgrade version of WinXP.

What that means is that you can convert a Win95 system to WinXP only
by deleting the Win95 system, then installing XP. If you're using the
upgrade version of XP, it will ask for proof of a qualifying product.
At that point you put your Win95 CD into the drive. Once the XP
installation routine sees that, it will be satisfied and will continue
installing XP.

BUT.....it's extremely unlikely that any computer that's old enough to
be running Win95 would be able to handle the hardware demands of
WinXP.

Sorry, that's not the way newsgroups work. You post it here, you read
it here and everybody benefits. No one-on-one support.
