anybody have this setup? i have been trying to oc it and i cant get more than a 20mhz oc before memtest fails horrificaly

iv tried super lax timings different voltages 2.6-2.8v i mean i have not even bought this ram near its limits .. and that cpu iv seen do 2.8ghz on air so wtf

heh, i forgot about this post ... a few tweaks to the ram settings and changing from yellow to orange slots did the trick ... these are the results:

If you're going to drop to 10x...just go to 250 1:1....my 3200 ocz plat 2gb does 250, so i know your's EDIT: *should* [will] do 250.

Some reviewers are getting even better results then 250...you might try to hit that same 2600mhz (260fsb) at 1:1 and 10x. It'll definately run hotter, but it'd be fun to bench.

--One more thing...if you want to test your memory, drop the multiplier down to 4 or 5x, and see how far you can push the fsb 1:1. That way you take your cpu out of the equation.
