I have noticed that different versions of Windows come
with different, included games, such as hearts, mine
sweeper, etc. Is it legal and O.K. to copy a game from
one version of Windows on one computer to a different
computer with a different version of windows?

It isn't legal to use any Microsoft software that you
don't have a license for or that anyone can use for free,
but Microsoft won't be able to find out that anyone is
using a game in that way, and it probably wouldn't make a
fuss about it if it did know, so just go ahead and do it.
