MS used to make available downloads of specific drivers.
I am looking an old modem driver it's either for Win95 or
Win98. It's an old NewCom modem with a Cirrus logic
chipset.
I cannot find on the MS site, where the download library
is.
I found an KB135314 for "Windows 95 Driver Library...The
Windows 95 Driver Library driver information in this
article was revised May 17, 1996. Obtain the most recent
version of the Windows 95 Hardware Compatibility List,
Hcl95.exe, from the following site:
http://www.microsoft.com/hwtest/
Obtain the most recent versions of the Windows 95 Driver
Library drivers from the Microsoft Download Center."
There doesn't seem to be anything of use on the download
center.
I know drivers were kept.
Is there still a way to get to them?

You would be better off to search for drivers using the make and model of
the modem. If it's an external modem generic drivers for the modem type (eg,
56k Fax modem) should work just fine.
