CPUZ shows different timings

I have these EPoX EP-9NPA+Ultra Socket 939 NVIDIA nForce4 Ultra ATX AMD Motherboard - Retail

OCZ Gold Series 1GB (2 x 512MB) 184-Pin DDR SDRAM DDR 400 (PC 3200) Unbuffered Dual Channel Kit System Memory Model OCZ4001024ELDCGE-K - Retail

and the memor is supposed to be 2-2-2-5 and CPUZ shows 2.5-4-4-8

Why would that be?

Check your BIOS maybe?

Are you sure that its showing the actual timings set in the bios or the timings that are set in the spd on the memory?

Yes check the BIOS if the Ram SPD is to default it will be 2.5-4-4-8
You have to set them manualy,set the timings you desire if there are suported by the software and hardware ofcourse it will work,if not your system will crash or become unstable.
