Hey.

[CHeck signatue]

I have folding@home running in background all the time (40051 team joined THG) 8) . How long to i wait before i can push it to 2.45 and then 2.5?

Also right now its 240x10 and HTT4x.

If i wanna take it to 2.45 or 2.5 I haev to reduce the HTT to 3x right? and

lower my CPU miltiplier to 9.5x264= 2508 MHz? 3x264=792 (i think thats good since its lower than a 1000?

THAnk YOU.

LOL iin the CPU thread........on the top it says join our FOLDING@HOME team.

its supposed to be a programme that stresses the CPU>>.if iu run it long enough it supposed to increase the overclocking capability of the cpu.

But i dun know how logn i should run this before i move on from 2.4Ghz AMD 64 3200+ (stock 2.0Ghz)

Folding@Home is a distributed Computing Project that "folds" proteins to see how they react. One of its features is the you can join a team and help them compete to have the most Folding Power. In the end its just like the Seti distributed project, but with more noble intentions.

I have no idea where you got the idea of this program increasing your overclock potential, except it essentially makes your computer run 100% cpu all the time so maybe the constant stress while being able to use your computer during the process(unlike Prime95 or CPUBurn) allows you to find a nice stable limit for your overclocking. But it won't be the sudden magical program that makes your computer get another 100mhz higher.
