I'am trying to install xp but my op sesteam is win95

Are you trying to do use an Upgrade XP disk or a Full Version?
Windows 95 does not qualify for an upgrade.
If you are tying a Full Version, are you booting from the CD?
Have you run the check to see if your hardware qualifies for Windows XP?
Most computers built for Windows 95 do not meet the requirements for XP.
By the way, the minimum requirements for XP make for a very poor operation.
You should have a CPU of approximately 1000 MHz (1 GHz) and at least 256
Megs of RAM
and a hard drive of 20 GB. (you have the last item). Anything less will
walk, but not run well.
