I am goin to install 95 on a dell dimension 4500 P4 processor. Don't worry I
know how to fix it so it boots up on a fast machine. Anyways I know it won't
detect my display card, so I will be stuck with 16 bit color. On another
partition I will have XP on XP the display adapter it is using is a RAGE 128
Ultra GL AGP (Microsoft Corporation). What should I do to change the display
adapter? Can I use XP to do that?

The display adapter driver must be installed from Windows 95 - what you have
set up for XP will have no impact on W95.. The standard VGA and SVGA drivers
should work.

Yeah I can install those but all they give me is 16-bit color.

That's correct. As you stated, you will be stuck with 16 colours.Unless you
can find Windows 95 drivers for that card, or some other advanced drivers
that are compatible, that's the only option you will get.

If you can't find Win95 drivers for it here:
http://www.ati.com/support/drivers/legacy.html
or here:
http://www.ati.com/support/driver.html
start searching Google for a driver.
