X1900 xtx is the best price performance hands down. I bought an X1900xtx because that was the only thing CompUsa had available in Texas and they only had 15 on launch day. I did not want to take the chance of not getting one. So I plunked down the extra $100.

I think that ATI knew that would happen but the x1900 series card are worth every penny. Who knows, maybe ther is some hidden thing they are creating for the xtx. I doubt it but it helps me cope with the meager overclocking the xtx has over the xt

Then why does your signature list that you have an ATI X1900 XTX?

ATi Radeon x1900XT 512MB @ XTX 650/775 i assume is what your referring to. Where does it say that i have an XTX? Ahhhh...you dont know what overclocked it to an XTX means.....

You should make an option to vote for the cheap X1900 AIW card.

Overclocks like abat out 'o hell, only limitations are slower memory and non-crossfire compatibility.

But for the price... best deal ever for an overclocker.

I would say get the XT because the difference is minmum. I have the 1900 XT and it blows me away with image quality and speed. With that said take the advice from others you won't be dissapointed.

I know this is not what you asked but I think neither.

I would personally get a 7800GT or wait 0-30 days for nVidia to respond to the X1900 at which time prices should come down a bit.

I don't think the X1900XT or XTX is worth 500-700 bux.

Semper Fi Linux on! :D

I should have looked at what I wrote before I posted it I meant that the X1900XT not the X1900xtx was the best Price performance. I bought the XTX because I had a big credit at Compuse I wanted to use.

MY BAD

Sorry for the confusion fellas

...does someone work for linux now?

anyway, the real question was 1900 xt or xtx...i would go with the xt any day of the week, and just OC it to xtx specs if 25Mhz is that big of a deal to you anyway, my buddy has the 1900xt and I will be putting one in my new machine here within the month. Personally as MMORPG player, I get plenty of eye candy with the 1900xt and if i really wanted more i could always OC it up a little!
