How little is the difference really. I really want the 3500 but everyone says there is only a microscopic differnce between them.So help me out.

EDIT:What are the differences between this and this.

Well basically it depends are you going to overclock or not. 3200 and 3500+ will overclock most likely to the same clockspeeds ( some people say 3200+ actually overclocks a bit better)

So if you are going to run your pc at it's stock speeds then go for 3500+.
Otherwise 3200+ or even 3000+. I would prefer 3200+.

correct me if im wrong, i may be... but the 3500 is the same exact thing as a 3200 but clocked to 2.2 instead of 2.0, the 3200 can overclock crazy high (2.8ish) although its not guarenteed. overclockers tend to like 3200 more because its cheaper than a 3500 which uses the same core and manufactoring process and cache... making me believe its just a faster clocked 3200 (may be wrong) but if u wanna overclock and save some money go for the 3200 its a better value

Ok, sounds good. I think I will get the 3200+ and overclock it. How hard is it to overclock these?.Would I need any extra cooling besides a cool case and the stock fan? One more thing which of the 3200+ should I get that I posted in my first post in the thread. I kinda want the cheaper one so I could get a nice keyboard and mouse for my system.

ive heard of people hitting 2.6 on stock cooling and staying under 45C at full load... (people tend to lie though, but expect to hit at least 2.4 with stock cooler, and good airflow) im not sure if this is 100% true but it is for video cards and some processors, but say they manufactor 3800's but the chips isnt stable at that speed (2.4ghz) theyll downgrade it to a 3200/3000... i dont think this is as common on venices but just know that u may get one like that, but even with one of those youll be able to hit 2.2 (speed of 3500) pretty easily... venices are one of the best overclocking cpu for AMD... and yea id say go for the cheaper one, theres a difference between them but i duno it is, probably somthing to do with the warrenty or somthing along those lines, but the physical cpu seems exactly the same...
