I am in the process of re-building my file server using an IDE backplane,

http://www.servercase.com/miva/miv [...] A100%2F133

that has hot-swappable hard drive enclosures. I also need to make sure that I buy IDE PCI controller cards which allow the hot-swap ability. How would I know if this card supports it or if any card supports it? Or do all the new IDE controller cards now support it natively?

http://3btech.net/siimpci2pide.html

They don't say anything about supporting hot-swap on the page so I'm not sure. I would greatly appreciate any help you can provide

thanks
