We have an HP 2200 and an HP 2230 Business Inkjet. Both have been acting a
little finicky lately, which leads to:
1) Printhead health on the 2200 was 20% on Black, 30% on both Cyan and
Magenta, and 80% on Yellow. Short of it not printing at all, what is the
recommended percentage level before the printheads should be replaced?
We were having quality issues, so we switched printheads with the 2230. Now
they read 90% on B, 20% on C, 100% on M, and 80% on Y. We were able to
print over 100 sheets with little or no quality issues, so it would seem to
have resolved itself. Except:
2) Now we would expect the 2230 to have the same Health %'s as the 2200
originally did. But it does not. It has 70% B, 20 % C, 20% M and 100% Y.
It seems the printheads have improved since being installed in the 2230.
I'm know there is a sensor for this, but why the perceived improvement in
health?
The 2230 has been giving us major fits recently, and when I printed the
Configuration Page, it contained Event Log Information as follows:
All started with PAGE=00000000, then followed with
I am sure this will interpret into why we are having problems with it, but I
have no reference other than the numbers. Does anyone have a reference for
this info?
