Best sound cards for recording studio

Hello,
i am looking for a sound card for my small but professional recording studio,planning to buy an i mac i7 27 inch (DAW NUENDO)Mixer o1v96 and Yamaha HS 80s, what wud be best for me? I m also looking at having 5.1 surround system plz advice
my budget is around $500-$600

i think you meant an audio interface, not a soundcard. i recorded an entire album with a M-Audio Fast Track MKII, it's very good and cheap for what it does. you could also look at something more expensive like a Roland UA-55 Quad-Capture which is 225 EURO.
