Well I have a custom built PC running a 2.4 P4 OC'd to 3.0ghz, Radeon 9700 Pro and sadly 1 512mb and 1 256mb DDR266mhz Ram. The ram is also OC'd. Now would I gett better framerate in games if I upgraded to 2 512mb DDR400 modules???

Some games just seem like they should run better then what they do and I think my ram is bottle necking my system. I can post some benchmark scores later today when I get home from work. Thanks

Yes, going from 768MB to 1GB would make a difference in newer games. DDR400 RAM would also make a difference (assuming you have a 800mhz FSB that is).

Yes but does your CPU operate on a 800mhz FSB? As you can see your motherboard supports 400, 533, and 800mhz FSB's.

If you have a 400mhz fSB P4, going to DDR400 ain't gonna do crap for you. If you have a 800mhz FSB then DDR400 will definitely help.

Intel made 2.4Ghz P4's at all 3 bus speeds.

Ok my Cpu Clock(MHZ) is set at 166mhz and the Dram Clock(MHZ) is set at 298mhz. So would it help to go to DDR3200 at all? Oh yea and I have the CPU voltage at +5% to let it stayed OC'd safely. Thanks.

**UPDATE**

Here are my Aquamark 3 scores if anyone cares....

Triangles Sec - 11,280,608
GFX - 5436
CPU - 6031
--------------
37,473

Fps 34.47

This is with everything OC'd except the video card. I think I should hit atleast 40,000 with my 9700pro.
