I just installed one of those coolermaster musketeer II.
The problem is my harddrive light stays lit all the time....i go into task manager and see that my cpu usage is at 2%....but my pagefile stays at 345.
I tried a scandisc on my 3 drives two IDE and one sata....i also emptied my tempoary internet files with diskclean up.
It does not seem to effect my performance....but drives me buggy.
the meter on the coolermaster harddrive meter stays between 75 to 100%.
I have no idea what that coolermaster part is that you're describing but I do know that hardrive lights can stay on if you have the polarity on the lead wires crossed. Does that apply to this coolermaster thing, in other words can you switch the poles on the leads from the light to whatever is powering it?
dude check all your drives cables it had happened to me when ı left plugged the ide cable to one of my cd drives but ı did not plug the electric cable to it simlp because ı had none a free because ı have a lot of case fans.. so it can be the same for you if the ide cable is plugged and no electricity then it stays up
I just hooked up my front HD led back again.....i will try again sometime when i am bored........main reason...case is full of stuff and a pain to get in to replug them again.
