One day when I came home from school, my computer didn’t want to start up, and I didn’t know why, because I haven’t done anything with it. When I turned on my pc the screen was just black and my monitor goes stand by. :/ After some hassle I it suddenly worked after changing the multiplier to 12,5x instead of 13x, but know it works as a 2800+ and I don’t know how to fix it, ‘cause when I change the multiplier back to 13x then the monitor goes stand by and I can’t even restart the computer on my restart button…  :(

Can anybody help me? :)

That's strange. I would speculate that the CPU is going bad...

I hate to be the first one to say something is going bad, but I can't think of a good reason as to why it wouldn't operate at the slightly higher clock speed... Check and make sure that the FSB speed is the same with both multipliers.

Anyone else have any ideas? Heat is a possibility I suppose... an unlikely one though.
