Win95 envelope wizard & HP693C printer

My father has an older computer with Win95 and a HP693C printer. There's a
MS wizard that creates envelopes. All is fine printing a No. 10 business
envelope. But selecting any other size (with the wizard) results in the
printer starting to print some distance from the left margin. The text is
printed correctly; it just isn't in the right place.

Any ideas? Can anyone remember back that far?
