Can DDR400 be overclocked?

Can DDR400 be OC'ed or would I need to buy some DDR500 or something? I'm hoping to put ram into an upcoming 939 comp.

Of course it can be. How much you can overclock it depends on the timings. If you want really overclockable RAM, be sure to get CAS 2.0 timed RAM. CAS 2.5 will overclock, but not to the same degree CAS 2 stuff will.
