They mean that there is something seriously in error and that you should
contact whoever sold you the computer for correction.

Sounds like a RAM issue....either mismatched sticks or there is a timing
issue that is not resolved until windows has completely loaded. Have you
checked to see if there is an updated BIOS for your motherboard?

Thanks all for the replys and the suggested links--I read all, and it does
appear that a BIOS update is inorder. That will go on my to do list!
