New Linux Kernel natively supports Centrino

hi im looking for some drivers for my x700 pro for Mandriva Linux Limited Edition 2005 32bit version, there are several on the ati website but they dont seem to do anything when they install, any help would be nice, thanks :)

Good luck I've only used nVidia under Linux so I'm not sure how these drivers work. You probably need to have the sources for your running kernel to make them work (like you do with nVidia and other LGPL or closed source drivers).

thanks ill let you know how it goes, on a slightly different subject, has anyone seen the internet explorer 7 beta? it looks like a mix of firefox and opera lol and its wel slow (hence why im playin with linux coz i given up wid windows lol)
