are u using 1:1 right now? have u considered using a memory divider? have u considered upping vcore since u already upped vdimm?

I ahve no idea what memory dividers are......i just know that in BIOS>...my memeory settings are :

DDR 333
2.5 3 3 7
1T

and the rest is in my signature ...

Wait a minute are you trying to run 166MHz DDR 333 @ 242MHz DDR 484???????

I don't think that is going to work with DDR500 it may work

Na i got DDR 400 RAM ...pc3200...btu in DIOS or when the computer loads up it says DDR 333 (166Mhz is it?).....now watever that means...

is that wrong settings?

ur already using a mem divider then your ram should be at ddr 402 if ur using 5:6 ratio
so it must be your proccessor thats unstable

If your ram really is PC3200 you should be able to run it @ 200MHz (400DDR).

Go into the BIOS and set it to manual then select 200MHz 2.5 3 3 7 1T

Check to see what kind of timings your RAM can handle.

It might not be stable at those timings.

You can use memtest86 to check for errors and stability problems.

PS What are the markings on the sticker on the RAM module? What are the numbers on the chips themselves if they are visible?

on the ram it says 2.5 3 3 7

AND IF MY PROCESSOR IS UNSTABLE WHY SO? DID I NOT BURNIT IN NUFF BEFORE JUMPING TO 2.4 ghz?

Try memtest86, run it for about 8 hours, it will tell you if it detects any problems.

 

check the usual culprits - cpu vcore, htt speed, ram vcore, pci/agp/pcie lock or speeds, cooling (chipset and cpu) etc - could be anything in an overclocked system.

I tried the overclocking guide.......set the divider to 333 while increased the fsb to 280x9 = 2502...gave it 1.52 V...but o well the computer rebooted after doing 34 sec on SUPER PI..


IM back on 2.25 Ghz at 1.40 V ram @2.7 V.

I think im gonna burn in more and move ahed slowly.....dunno if that will work tho...
