I'm looking at This Card as a potential purchase. however, the fact that the memory is listed at 500 Mhz bugs me a bit. All the comments on it say it's just a typo, but the price is about $100 less than the other 1800XLs I've seen out there.

Is this a good card? If not, what other ATI cards are good for around that price point?

As has been mentioned STOCK speed is 500MHZ, however the RAM chips used are turning out to be 1.6ns and not the 2.0ns chips found on some. So that means they are rated for 625MHZ, and as such have alot of headroom for overclocking, as a few X1800/1900 owners here have found out.

Connect 3D is an OK mfr, they are very low priced everywhere, they are about bare essentials (no much free crap) and carry a 2year warranty.
