It will look pretty for sure, but why pay for a case that has a psu in it, then get another? I know its cheap, but the weight reflects shipping costs.
Good luck

dybowski,
r u planning on overclocking? if so, i likk ur lanparty mobo, but if not, i wuld suggest a slightly lower priced sli mobo that wuld work just fine. Also, the bottleneck in this system is the processor. it WILL work well, but it is an older technology that will bring u down a bit in overall computer performance. i have no experience with the 6800gs, but i wuld recommend possibly shelling out a bit more money for a more advanced 7800.
bottom line, sacrificing a good mobo for a better cpu wuld b a good option if ur not planning to overclock
the video card shuld b fine, but if u really wanted a good performance, a 7800 wuld get the job done everything else looks good. WD hd is good, great hd makers

No sound blaster? For the last three years I was using onboard sound… Before that it was the Sound Blaster Live!. Today it’s an Audigy and I’ll never go back :) There really is a difference. Oh, and I would go with the Liberty, but I’m biased.

I play BF2 with the 7.1 ch sound card that came with my mobo, AN8-Sli and it seems to work fine but i guess the higher end sound cards would eat up proformance of the cpu i guess but i going out on a limb. Plus I use my headset all the time sooo i dunno it probably wouldnt make a difference for me anyway.

O and anyway i suggest that you go ahead and at least get a 7800gt and a A64 3500, cus I have a A64 4000 and it balls the 3000 that one of my friends has and when i overclock it i get some pretty high FPS even without overclocking my X850XT even though i can. Heres my system that I built for 1250 a few months ago if that helps in any way, prices have gone down on some things so i think that it would probably be around 1100 now.

AMD A64 4000+
1 Gb OCZ PC4000
300 Gb Maxtor SATA hard drive
Connect 3D X850XT
500 Watt Ultra PSU

Splendid
High end sound cards have true hardware audio processors which do the audio processing for you freeing up the system CPU for other tasks!

Many on board sound chipsets use a lot of CPU (8-25% it varies) whereas true hardware sound cards usually only use 1-8% CPU.

The sound processor is a hot topic these days with more games electing to use software decoding via the processor. Right now however, my SB is doing its own lifting with most games.
