in term of heat produced, how to compare LCD to CRT monitors

in term of heat produced, how to compare Flat LCD to CRT monitors?
I know that Flat LCD panels generate less heat..but
is it possible to have a comparative quantitative measurement of heat produced by standard Flat LCDs Vs CRT monitors?

Most 17-19"LCD panels are only dissipating 20-25 watts of heat, vice 60-65 watts for typical 19" CRT monitors....
