I recently downloaded and installed SP2. I noticed that at exactly 45 min
past every hour, a popup Internet Explorer Window opens with nothing in it.
The title bar reads http://vbs.searchwww.com/vbs.cgi - Microsoft Internet
Explorer." I can run Spybot Search and Destroy 1.3 and AdAware SE Personal
and they detect nothing. What is causing this window to open and how can I
get it to stop?

Some spyware/parasites do a good job of hiding themselves from Ad-Aware and
SpyBot S&D. Check Jim Eshelman's site http://aumha.org/win5/a/parasite.htm for info and links to addition resources and tools. I'd suggest running
CWShredder and HiJackThis to see what they uncover. Be cautious with
HiJackThis though.
