I don't personally like ASUS mobo's but they have a good rep. If you want to OC down the road have a look at either DFI or EpOX. The video card is gonna be the weak link in your system right now. Either look at the 6800gt or 850xt as a better solution. But rest looks great.

You're not doing any gaming, are you?

You don't really need more than 128MB on a GF6600 VC. What do you want to use this computer for? Knowing that will tell you best if those specs would make a great pc for you.

I JUST wanted to have a "fast" futureproof pc for cd/dvd burning and surfing
but I also run scans alot and would like to use computer at the same time.

I can personally vouch for the Asus A8N SLI Premium- great board.

The Thermaltake Armor is the best god damn case on the market in my opinion- good choice.

Suggestion: don't waste your cash on a 512MB version of the 6600. It's a frikin rip off- NO performance gains. Get a 6800 Ultra or GT w/ 256MB of RAM.

There is no "futureproof" pc, but if you want to use it only for the abovementioned things those specs are more than great(with the exception of the 512MB on that freakin VC)

If you are not gaming, what are you doing?
