Could you guys tell me what kind of slot i have by my graphic card. I really need to know what kind of interface i have so i buy a new graphic card.

  1. You will have an AGP slot in your PC, probably a AGP x2 or AGP x4.

I've had a look what cards will fit in your system and unless you have a AGPx4 you can forget it. A AGPx8 card will not fit in a computer that only supports AGPx2 ann most 'decent' cards are AGPx8 or a newer standard called PCI-express.

Any idea what make/model your PC is ?
  2. I have a http://www.epinions.com/Gateway_500S_Desktops/display_~full_specs
But i upgraded my ram to 1 gb. But if my motherboard has a AGP 4X slot. Will a BFG 6800 GS OC AGP card still work. Please tell me i have a 4x slot!!!
  3. This is the motherboard i have http://www.intel.com/design/motherbd/bv/index.htm but i only have 3 PCI connectors not 6. The website says it has a AGP 4x slot. So it will work with a BFG 6800 GS OC AGP right?
  4. THANKS!!! :P
