I have trouble waiting for the goods to arrive, like a junky waiting for the dope. Yeah, I know, no life.
Here are the specs:
Aluminum LL Case Black
2 WD740 GD 10k SATA in Raid 0
1 Samsung 250 G backup drive
Ultra 600w X-finity PSU
Cooler Master Hyoper 48
Intel Pentium D 930 3.0 DT 4 megs cache
Asus P5WD2-E Pemium 975X (crossfire)
Powercolor X1900 Crossfire 512 OEM
Powercolor X1900XT 512 OEM
Logitech MX3000 wireless desktop
1Gx2 Patrion PDC DDR2 Dual Channel PC800
Creative Labs Sound Blaster X-Fi Xtreme Music
Parts are not even here yet. Was going to go with 15K SCSI 320 but the damn controllers are so expensive with the hardware raid and ram. Had to go with the sissy sata drives. They are weak even at 10k, but only 300 for the pair of 74's
Regards,
James

do you mind telling me why? It has good specs and completely out performs the AMD in the same price range. It was only 236 bucks and it sofar, has been running at 4.0 ghz. I dont think the Pentium CPU ever gets a break against amd, everyone is always testing the AMD on the AMD chip set and the intel on some pos sis board or something. The Intel runs very well on the 975x and the 850e, but not so good on 3rd party bargain chips. I remember the old days when they compared amd to intel, but ran the intel on the 645 chipset. What a joke, as it rat about 5/2 faster on the 850e. I agree the fx 60 is some powerful chip, but at 1300 for a chip and board, that is just over priced to get a small margin of cpu performace. I am interested in your reasoning though. Thanks.
