DDR2 and Dell I1300

I have an Inspiron 1300 that I want to upgrade the ram on. My question is whether all I really need to look for is DDR2?
I've used a few of the sites with the automatic menus for choosing ram, but on other sites such as newegg, zzf, etc., I'm not 100% sure that the ram I'm looking at will be compatible. Is there something else that I need to look for as far as the ram specs go to ensure compatibility?

Thanks for the reply. I was just wanting to make sure that there weren't any other things I needed to look for regarding the ram. I know that I've been told in the past that dell systems (desktops at least) were picky about which ram would actually work. I'm just unfamiliar with ddr2 specifications and wanted to know if there was anything else to look for.
