Yeah, maybe you can create a list of games that fark up using dual core. Like Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas!
There is of course an easy fix (go into task manager, right click on the gta_sa.exe process, set affinity to 1 CPU), but rockstar hasn't released a fix or even a work around for this!
Sorry... it just pisses me off. You'd think it would be frightengly simple to write a patch that makes the game use 1 CPU. Or you'd think their support line would be able to tell me how to work around it. Losers.
if he had problems with dual core playing games, i should recommend to install the amd64 drivers for x2 series , and resolve any issue respecting to affinity. It's works for me
Note This solution favors performance gains over power savings. Although benchmark performance scores may improve, battery life could be negatively affected. Therefore, this kernel policy change must be enabled in the registry to allow for maximum flexibility.
okay if the multi core processor is suppos to be the next gen of cpu then why does it suck in gaming. I still heard that the AMD FX-57 is the best cpu for gaming. Are multi core processor do not work as effecient as the single core processor does. How come?
