When I start FS2004 I get the following message :FS2004 cannot find the
default fltsim.flt file.
I tried the Microsoft article 319764 and a bunch of other stuffs, but
still I am having the same problem.
It was working fine since 4 months, but suddenly I am getting this
error.
Help
Thanks

Check and see if the directory was re-named. That happened to me when I
installed some addon or another and it took quite a bit of registry editing
to fix it.
Mine wound up renamed to "FS9 Directory"

Hi all
Thanks you very much for your help Dallas and Jay Williams
I tried but it didn't work.
I resolved it this way:
I uninstalled FS2004 program from add-remove(deleted Microsoft Games
folder in C:\Program Files)
I created a new Windows user and I reinstalled FS2004 under the new
user
I tested it and it worked fine with the new user
I tested under the old Windows user, same error.
I am now using FS2004 under the new user.
