Snapgear SME550s work great for IPSec and PPTP ... but not..

IPSec VPN between two networks NATed through two Snapgear SME550s
works great; came right up. Remote access via PPTP also OK; I should
note that the test PPTP client is Win2K behind a Redhat (E-Smith,
specifically) box.

HOWEVER, the SME550 doesn't seem to want to route traffic to/from the
PPTP client across the IPSec VPN; i.e. I can't ping or access any
hosts on the remote network though access via PPTP to anything on the
"local" network is A-OK.

Do I need to set up another route on the SME550? What insight am I
lacking?

Answered my own question: in Windows 2000 & XP, the properties of the
PPTP connection need to include "Use default gateway on remote
network". That does the trick.
