Heatsink for 939

What would be better, a thermaltake big typhoon, or a thermalright xp-90 for my socket 939 A64 Venice 3200+

I WOULD SAY BIG TYPHOON BUT THE XP 90 IS ALSO GOOD TO IT DEPENDS ON HOW MUCH SPACE YOU GOT ON THE MOBO THOUGH.

TT SSonic Tower +2 120mm vanes and CoolerMaster Hyper6 are good too,but the best performance you will get with Scythe Ninja

so the scythe works with the A64 939 right? Also, how big is comparitavely to the others? I have an atx-mid tower and a DFI lanparty nf4 so im wondering what kind of space issues i might have with these massive and semi-massive heatsinks.

I got thermaltake big typhoon on my intel pentium d 840 overclocked to 3.5 Ghz. Eventhough intel is hot still my temps at full load is 49c tops.

its an atx-mid tower. dimensions are 18.7" x 7.8" x 16.8"

may be your case will be too small for Scythe Ninja,if I were you I would buy a Zalman 9500,but ofcourse the descision is yours

take one of these - TT Big typhoon,CM Hyper 6,Zalman 9500,Scyte Ninja(if you think it will fit in your case) all are good so just chose and get one

alright, thanks for the help. im gonna go with the ninja cause i measured and i think that it will fit. if not, ill just return it and go with something a little smaller. the ninja seems pretty good though as ive read plenty of reveiws on it. ill put a panaflo 120mm with it to really cool my processor which i plan to OC.
