How come some CPUs have the same box and same number, but are priced/listed separately? Such as: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16819103535 and http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.asp?Item=N82E16819103602 Also, which is a good core? Is Venice good, or do you guys recommend something else? Second, is there a huge difference between the 3200+ and 3500+, or just minimal? Lastly, are the included HS/Fan any good, or should I opt to get another one? I'm not planning to OC BTW
My guess is that they are different revisions, and one is older stock, thus different part numbers of the same CPU. Price is trying to move one out.
They are different revisions, and some revisions overclock better than others. However, I haven't done the research to be able to say which is which.
They must have change the price or to see how many suckers would fall for paying the higher price. Don't you think? If your not planning to overclocking the cpu then get the 3500 and the stock should be good enough. Not interested in dual core?
