No you didn't, please stop posting on Toms Forumz, I say this not to be mean or disrespectful, but your posts are either lies ("6800GS tops at 50c" ) or just stupid & pointless ("How do I copy pictures?" ). Please refrain from posting irrelevant and stupid posts, save us and yourself. Thank you.

Oil coolers work similar to water coolers. Transferring heat into a liquid and getting the heat out into the air. With the Oil cooling that THG did, it had a large surface area and which allows it to get more heat out into the air then most water coolers (Although vege oil is pretty shit for that).

The first bit of evidence that proves your a liar is the fact that oil/water/air coolers all have one problem... You CANNOT achieve a temperature lower then ambient air temperature! You said your Sempron ran at 30c idle when using air cooling, then suddenly you get this 20c drop when in oil cooling  So did you take your computer out and bury it in the snow to get the ambient to 0c for the oil cooler to achieve 10c??

One word for you, "Wanker".

"with 3 gallon's of oil and turned it on got my temps to 10c idle and 15c load "

Yes, cpu temps very frequently drop well below the room temperature of cooking oil....NOT.

Dude...flame elsewhere :-)

Is vegetable oil even good for oil cooling? That would be funny having your pc smelling like some buffet restaurant. haha.

Heard this guy talking about Galden Thermal Fluid, said it's a lot better than vegetable oil or motor oil. Almost 0 conductivity so sealing up the cpu in not necessary.

I wouldn't go for oil cooling though but go for water cooling. I have air cooling but its quite and cool.

Yeah, oil cooled pc. Can u say Lan party, man that pc would be like 50 pounds. I think its cool but not practical.

imagine this : a P4 yanoh dual core running at 90C in oil in a automated mcdonalds! now its fattening, fast frying, and electric consuming at the same time

ok night since you dont believe me i've done the oil cooling taken pics and i am developing them now

Reply to dvdpiddy

I still don't believe you.

Untill I see digital thermal readouts from Speedfan or similar programs, a laser temp meter readot and see both your oil cooled Sempron and air cooled Sempron both at the same ambient air temp(-1c you said previously), and your oil cooler is sitting on 10c and your air cooled is still sitting on 30c, I won't ever believe you.

Please refer to my first post for your correct title on these forums.
