Friends,
I have a Fujitsu-Siemens Amilo1439G Laptop
with a Philips DVD+-RW SDVD8431 DVD drive.

I have problem that my drive does not read the DVDs it writes. The same DVDs runs on other PCs and DVD players. Also my DVD drive can read some DVDs burned on other machines, but there is not consistency in this too.
I have tried using all combinations of DVDs like +R and -R of cheap ebay quality and as well as good quality etc. But i could not reach any conclusion. I use the latest Nero and the CD read write works absolutely fine.

Can any one please help me with some suggestions OR shall I call the service guys and send it for repair.
