Looking at Asus A8N SLI Premium mobo.Thermaltake Soprano ATX case.
Looking at the mobo and the back of the case i see where on the case the parallel port is directly OVER the com ports and on the mobo they are side by side.Same with the mouse/keyboard ports. For some reason the mobo ports do not align with the cut outs on the case? I thoust ATX mobo's fit in any ATX case.Am i missing something Wont buy until I hear from you well educated people.I know cases have marked cutouts you can punch out if u need to but nothing coincides with the layout of ports on the mobo.Any help is greatly appreciated Thank guys.
must mobo come with their own backing (port) plate so all you have to do is pop out the one that is in the case and pop in the one that came with your mobo
I have the same case, and it is so sweet. bought for 100 on ebay with 500watt thermaltake psu. very good deal.
the case has a i/o shield you remove by taking out 2 screws. you then are supposed to have another to replace it. I bought a asus a8n sli deluxe, OEM, so it didnt come with the shield. I donthink you need it. just blow some air through the case every now and then.
since you are asking this question, I assume you are buying the mobo oem. this case has everything you need to hook it up. all the port cables are built in the case for seamless installation.
Wow, you really are slow! The case comes with an old-fashioned plate from when those used a standard port layout. That rectangular plate is removable, and the board comes with a new one.
You are, obviously. First, you missed the username of the original poster, "slowball". Second, you missed that the response was addressed to him, not you. It says who the message was intended for right at the top of the post, before the body.
Sorry for your difficulties, but I'm sure you're up to speed by now!
