Back in mid-March I bought five phones for my family. When the salesman
tried to set up all five phones on a Family Plan, he was told that only four
phones could be placed on FP at that time, and that my fifth phone could not
be added until after the account was six months old.

Yesterday, while talking to Cingular Customer Service on another matter, I
asked the representative to confirm that I would be able to convert my fifth
phone to FP next month as previously promsed. She said FP has a maximum of
four phones, and has no provision for additional phones.

Now I'm confused about what to do next. There is no question about what I
was told at the time of purchase. I guess there's no point in making a fuss
until mid-September when my six months is completed, but I'm interested in
learning if anyone has any good suggestions about how to contact someone
high enough up the Cingular food chain that they can make good on the
promise that was made to me in March.
