6800 GT performance LOW!!!

Hey. I have my 6800GT overcloked to 412/1.12 and on 3dmark06 i get only 1800 as the pther cards get around 2400. How is this possible. My CPU score is 1200. It is a pci express card. I have 1GB of ram and my processor is Intel 3.4 GHz with HT tech.

Retun to stock settings try again.in bios check if ht is enable , check for conflits devices.May be the card is not cooled properly as it gets heated up it reduces its performance. :idea: :idea: :idea: :idea: :idea: :idea: :idea: :idea: :idea: :twisted:

synthetic benchmarks are worthless, keep that in mind. i have the same video card and have no problems with anything at 1280x1024, even fear. it could be your intel processor but im not sure how much of a difference that would make. what "other cards" are you talking about? try disabling hyperthreading and see if that boosts performance a bit, and make sure you have the newest drivers.

Other cards as in standard GT's and average values for the card.

as in standard gts? but how comparable are those benchmarks to your own computer? many cases reviewers will use 2gb of memory or an fx55 which could pull ahead. if you reinstall drivers and it still doesn't work it may be time to RMA
