First of all: Yes, I did check Cleeve's sticky. I cannot find an x800 (any kind) in AGP on Newegg, except refurbs. 6600GTs are also dying out. I'm guessing this is to help support the 7800/1900. Are there any good sub-$200 video cards in AGP that are still widely available?

Okay, I found some X800 cards in AGP finally. Here are the cards I am considering:

HIS X700

ATi X800 Pro

Sapphire X800 GT

Sapphire X800 GTO

Sapphire X1600 Pro

BFG 6800GS OC

I would like some help picking out which to buy, and quickly. X800 AGPs are being taken off the shelves at lightning fast speeds, probably to promote the X1xxx family.

Does anybody know how many amps on the 12V Rail of my PSU I need to run these cards? Right now I only have 12 amps and I'm afraid that won't be enough.

Also, for anyone interested, here are my system specs:

-AMD Athlon 2500+ XP (OC'ed to 3200)
-Shuttle AN35N-Ultra mobo
-1GB DDR400 PC3200 RAM (I'm upgrading this too, either Crucial Ballistix, Corsair XMS, or OCZ Gold Series, haven't decided yet)
-Inno3D GeForce FX5700LE (as you can see, I really need an upgrade)

can't help you with an answer, but give ya a free bump as the answer will be informative to everyone. Especially considering you could find a 850xt agp in the 200 range a month ago and now ya can't get one (or find one) for under 300. I thought prices were supposed to drop ;). My only guess is that in the next month or so, now that nvidia put out a top agp performer that ati will be forced to lower the prices on the x850 xt's agp's. ( I don't mean top performer as it being the best, but just one of the best, i personally want to get an x850 xt agp but am not willing to pay 350 for something obsolete ;).

The X800 pro, X800 GTO, and BFG 6800GS OC are all very close in AGP. It will depend on the game you play as to which wins. The ATI's will win easily in many DX9 games while the NV would win in OGL games. I'd go for the $204 Radeon X800 pro or the $199 BFG 6800GS.

-CS 1.6
-Need for Speed: Most Wanted

Someone offered to sell me his opened, still new, not used (wouldn't fit in his SFF case) x800 XL for $200 shipped. I don't know if I shoud trust him or not, because I don't want to get scammed or anything.

It'll either be that or the 6800GS. I need something that will last me until the end of the year but isn't over $250, and the GS seems to fit my bill.
