front side bus

Hi there, on Asus's website for the A8N32-SLI delux it says the the front side bus is 2000 / 1600 MT/s. why do they put both 2000 and 1600? which one is it?

It's both. I am probably wrong but I think when the Amd64 939 first came out I think they only supported the 1600MT/s. Doesnt really mater now as all new processors are 2000MT/s.

you are partialy right.
the true as far as I know is that the old 939 sempron is working on 1600. thats why, on the web site are displayed 1600 and 2000

Yes, but you'll be wasting bandwidth, as even 1600 is enough... But well, bigger number are better seller..
