Hi, everyone:

Newbie here. I am about to upgrade my system to AMD Opteron 165 and I need to finalize which memory module that I"ll put on my system. My question is that, if all the specs are the same, i.e. timing, memory chip manufacturer..etc, out of "Mushkin", "Crucial", "Corsair", "OCZ", which one would you guys select? If you could give a reason, althought not essential, it would be great!.

Cheers guys!

PS: I'll be looking at 2*1GB module and I plan to do some overclock.

perhaps its a personal taste? or a better deal, here in Australia corsair is expensive but OCZ is at a good price so i favour that.

Haha, Apache_lives, are you in Australia? I live in Aus as well, do you know where I can get cheap OCZ memory modules?

corsair is more or less the ASUS of the memory market, while ocz/mushkin is more enthusiast based for overclcoking/extreme performance. personally i'd go with ocz/mushkin since they PERSONALLY TEST every single chip that comes out of their lines which is incredible quality control. also ive been quite satisfied with my redlines..
