Hi guys

My work is looking to install a generator.

We would like to get an approximate figure on the amount of power we use.
Say our average PC is a Celeron 2.4, 256, 40gb, onboard, 15" monitor.

I know the PC doesn't use much. Some older(ancient really) machines here run on a 200W PSU.

So am I right in assuming that this setup would use approximately 250W, plus a 15" monitor using about 150W?

I anyone has any knowledge, please inform.

Answers will be paid for in kind...

Thats a 27" 16/10 LCD TV uses 140W.

So for your 15" i'd say probably a LOT less

Thanks

I'm just gonna tell them 300W per PC, to be safe.

We don't wanna install a damn expensice generator and the thing is not adequate. we have 6 servers alone that need to run off it too.

350W is pretty much the standard right now but 300 should be sufficient.
