can the zalman reserator 1 (old blue one) cool down my 4400+ cpu
if I OC it to speeds of a FX-60 or more?

The reserator will be cooling just the cpu, nothing else.

So what Im saying is, if I use the reserator on my CPU

4400+ (2.2ghz)
can I make it
2.6~2.8ghz

and still get temps that are close to my stock cooling at 2.2ghz(stock speed)?

which really defeats the point of a silent system and makes it shit expensive.

haha =]

i think the reserator might keep up with a cpu only, but dont' count on OCing it

The pump I can replace and buy a new one, however, the fan?
I dunno if there is a place on the reserator for a 120mm fan...

And for the CPU waterblock what do you recommend?
I was thinking of getting a swiftech storm...

the reserator 1 is at best used so we dont have to hear a stupid fan @ 3000rpm.... its just as effective, if not less effective, than a good air cooler
